Retirees Samajam

By the Grace of Almighty and the esteemed help and support of our Secretary and Treasurer, we managed to start the newest addition of cultural/spiritual organization for the seniors in our church Named "St.George Retiree Samajam." In September2022, foreseeing the need for Leisure and entertainment for the seniors at least once in a month and spend some time together outside their homes, we started this Samajam and held the 1st meeting on 10th September 2022.

In this meeting we elected a Vice president, Secretary and Jt. Secretary, Mr. Abraham Geevarghese, Mr. Boswell Daniel and Mrs. Thankamma Korah respectively. During the year 2022, we conducted 3 Monthly meetings on September 10th, October 10th and November 5th.

Normally we start the regular monthly meeting on a convenient Saturday by 3:00 PM followed by evening prayer and conclude with prayer by 6:30 - 7:00 PM.

During the meeting, we conduct various entertainment programs such as Bingo, jeopardy etc, and provide snacks and coffee in between and dinner to the participants. Finally, we had the opportunity to go on a trip to Sight and Sound theater to see the Live Show "DAVID". 45 members participated and it was really a memorable trip, and everybody enjoyed it. May God Almighty help us to do more good things through Him.
